Scott Shute
President & CEO
With more than 20 years of experience in contact center technology, contact center management, quality improvement and customer service, Scott Shute took the reigns as president and CEO of etalk in 2001. He oversaw the company’s acquisition by Autonomy in 2005 and continues to lead the strategic vision for etalk. Shute is a proven leader in operations, customer relations, management and information systems at companies ranging from start-ups to multi-million dollar entities. Prior to joining etalk, Shute was an etalk customer and the National Call Center Director for Verio, Inc., the world's largest web hosting company. He has also served as Vice President of Operations for a nationwide health information company; as Senior Director of Call Center Operations for a telephone-based triage service company; and as Corporate Vice President for CoreSource, a third-party administrator of health and workers’ compensation programs. Shute received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento, concentrating in management information sciences.
